What is LTE CAT4
LTE CAT4 is the most common and simplest high-speed LTE EU category, supporting uplink data rates of up to 50 Mbps and downlink data rates of up to 150 Mbps, enabling applications such as high-quality video surveillance, routers and more. 

To deliver this performance, LTE CAT4 uses the simplest MIMO configuration: 2×2 MIMO (2 TX antennas and 2 RX antennas). And it's best suited to IoT applications requiring higher data rates and more bandwidth.
